The Tramonto Foundation for Cultural Incentives aims to democratize access to cultural spaces.
The project currently has a consortium of museums that use a sponsorship fund to finance extended-hour activities in
Curitiba, Paraná.
The funding is fed by the sale of digitized and native-digital works loaned to the
project.
Sale takes place digitally in a wide range of prices, providing opportunities for contributions from various profiles of
philanthropists and friends of culture.
Democratizing access to Art
This project aims to broaden the horizons of cultural spaces to explore a niche population made up of people who are
active during business hours, or who visit the city on business, but who find themselves without nighttime activities in
museums, despite their potential interest.
According to the 2024 IPARDES report, Curitiba currently has 39 museums, but none of them have extended opening hours
for their exhibitions.
Also according to the Capital Culture report, Curitiba is one of the brazilians capitals in which the public is most interested in
museums, along with the city of Belo Horizonte in this ranking.
Due to the business hours of cultural facilities, most of them will focus their efforts on educational and interactive
activities for children and the elderly, thus excluding the public we have highlighted here.
The nightlife in Curitiba is not zero, and it has economic interest from other sectors, mainly in the gastronomic area,
with the support of ABRABAR, which works to guarantee circulation and regulate the opening hours of bars and restaurants
in the city at night.
To participate in this initiative, interested museums can register to participate in the financing fund promoted by the project.
Artists can also collaborate with the project
Each artwork in the project gallery is represented by an NFT file (a digital file). The platform used guarantees the resale rights of the works traded, generating income even after they are resold. The value added to these works also benefits the artist, increasing the value of their work in the art trading market, if they choose to identify the author.
